Kenyan authorities on Tuesday declared some anti-Finance bill protesters wanted as the protests run into its third week.
On Tuesday, Nairobi witnessed chaotic scenes as protesters disrupted parliamentary proceedings in opposition to the Finance Bill.
“It’s a serious situation and we should not take it lightly,” Kenyan government spokesman Isaac Mwaura said at a briefing on the crisis on Sunday.
“In between, she became a symbol of the resilience and confidence of the African woman with a unique capacity to face the challenges of life.”
