Ogirimangogo LGA received a star prize of N5 million. The first positions in each senatorial district received N3 million each.
Mr Ododo, who pledged his administration’s continued investment in rural infrastructure and education, reaffirmed free education in public schools.
The cleric lamented that despite the significant funds allocated to education by the government, the efforts have yielded little results.
“What you are telling us is not the truth. We have not received the documents. I don’t want to deceive the public here,” stated the committee chair.
The Kogi East All Progressive Congress (APC) stakeholders have passed a vote of confidence in Governor Ahmed Ododo.
He said the APC was aware of intense pressure, including violent threats on INEC staff by trailing opposition parties to disrupt the collation of results.
“APC is one and united family ready to sweep the votes for Tinubu-Shettina presidency in the state.”
