Urban inflation rates climbed by 17.92 percent in February 2021 from 17.03 percent recorded in January 2021.
“Citizens should ensure adequate intake of fluid to avoid dehydration,” it said.
“I am not going to subject the people of Kogi State to vaccination. I will not make them the guinea pigs.”
“Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello begged us on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria, we agreed to call off the nationwide strike today,” Mr. Tahir said.
He urged the governor to sustain his efforts in providing security for his state.
A review of Kogi’s N130.5 billion 2021 budget shows a line item ambiguously stated as “COVID-19” with N9.7 billion allotted for it.
The loan is meant for rural roads, agriculture market and value chain development, the governor’s spokesman, said.
He also told reporters that the Kogi legislature supported Mr. Bello’s presidential ambition to compensate the North Central geopolitical zone.
Despite lacking scientific literacy, the Kogi governor also expressed doubts about the speed with which scientists came up with COVID-19 vaccines.
