Mr AbdulRazaq said this during KWASU’s 12th convocation ceremony on Saturday in Malete.
The vice-chancellor said that the institution was faced with land encroachment.
The management of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, says it has expelled 175 students for various offences.
Two of the programmes are at the undergraduate level while 11 are postgraduate programmes.
The university promoted six lecturers to full professor and 11 others to associate professor positions.
Adamu Bargo, a spokesman for KASU described Mr Osodeke’s comments as “irresponsible, unguarded, misleading and derogatory”.
The Ilorin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) secured the conviction.
