“The defendant was sighted by a security guard in the process of stealing the appliances, which led to his arrest while the others escaped,” the prosecutor said.
Ms Okpala said that if granted, the defendant would not jump bail nor jeopardise investigations
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Mr Haruna prayed the court for leniency and vowed to refrain from such acts.
The suspect was said to have committed the offence on January 17, 2024, at about 11pm/
