He urged the court to give the respondents three days to allow them inspect the documents before admitting them as evidence.
Mr Adebutu further chided Mr Abiodun, asking him to stop desperate moves aimed at keeping himself in power against the public’s wish.
“Dapo Abiodun has turned Ogun state into a bloodbath. He cannot rig this election and claim that people should not present evidences of his malpractice.”
The governor dispatched the frontline monarch and others to London to meet with Kesington Adebutu, hoping to broker an accord that will end in the termination of the legal battle.
The petitioners’ lead counsel, Goddy Uche (SAN), expressed confidence that the outcome of the petition would favour the PDP and Mr Adebutu.
Mr Adebutu had rejected the outcome of the election, alleging irregularities, violence and massive rigging.
“We all witnessed how these desperate politicians and their gullible followers, bent on wresting power by force, broke all rules of civility and violated electoral guidelines.”
The party also called for the immediate replacement of the returning officer, Kayode Adebowale.
The Ogun governor defeated PDP’s Ladi Adebutu by a slim margin.
The incumbent governor scored 9,133 votes to trail his rival Mr Adebutu of the PDP, who polled 12,472 votes.
