Babatunde Gold, the Itori unit commander of the FRSC, gave the warning on Monday in Ota.
He urged motorists to obey traffic signs and follow directives from traffic officials.
Some youths also took advantage of the reduced vehicular movement to engage in recreational activities beneath the Pencinema Bridge.
He added that the accident victims were rescued by the FRSC Itori Unit Command in Ogun.
All 11 people on board, comprising 10 adult males and one adult female, lost their lives in the crash,” said FRSC.
The rehabilitation will begin on February 11 (Wednesday) and end on March 11, 2026.
Three people died on the spot.
Mr Olumide said property owners, especially those on highways, should undertake the needed facelift of their buildings.
Mr Ajibade said that the vehicles had been towed off the expressway to ease the free flow of traffic in the area.
Mr Ogunmefun also advised motorists to be patient and drive safely on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
