The lawmakers believe greater focus on Lagos tourism would enhance the state revenue.
The reports of its findings from the joint committee after the probe would be presented at the plenary of the House for debate and further scrutiny.
Organisers of the special prayer said that the Badagry gathering was to solicit God’s help for the national leader of the APC.
“He has done a lot in Lagos state as a former governor and this is quite visible to everybody to see and that is why we are praying that if given the opportunity.”
The lawmakers said the bill came as a result of complaints by Lagosians of law enforcement officers not being properly trained.
Salami Sikiru Adeniji had earlier appeared before the lawmakers for screening.
According to the bill, the institute would act as a centre of excellence for research and publication on democratic governance.
“Government should amend existing schools structures to meet inclusive education standard and also to break down all known barriers in the way of persons with disabilities.”
The speaker who pushed for compensation said “If the agencies had done the needful, we would not have this sad occurrence.”
The speaker of the House of Assembly noted that it was the wish of Lagosians that the post-office remuneration of officeholders be reduced drastically.
