The assembly speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, reiterated the assembly’s support for the Sanwo-Olu-led administration.
Mr Obasa said the lawmakers decided to assist after watching Miss Alege’s parents appeal for assistance from the public.
Mr Loremikan, therefore, called on the House of Assembly to withdraw the proposed bill immediately.

A bill to restructure local government administration is currently before the Assembly.
