Mr Musa stated that the suspension was decided at a meeting between representatives of the ministry and leaders of transport unions.
Mrs Ohgunlola said that the operation cleared the road of vehicular congestion caused by the infractions, restoring smooth traffic flow and ensuring compliance with traffic regulations.
Ms Giwa said the Removal of Abandoned Vehicles Committee’s primary responsibility would be the prompt removal of all abandoned and disused vehicles.
Ms Ogunlola said that the state’s law enforcement agencies were on surveillance to enforce compliance.
He said that government was being very proactive to make life more bearable for residents.
