According to him, the Ijora under-bridge axis had long served as a criminal enclave, accommodating miscreants.
The suspect pleaded guilty to the three charges.
He said that the operation reflected the zero-tolerance policy against illegal activities in the state.
A Lagos task force has impounded 128 commercial motorcycles for operating illegally in parts of the state.
Mr Akerele said the operation was carried out at 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., respectively, on Tuesday at Oshodi and its environs.
“A total of 380 motorcycles were impounded. Enforcement continues.”
He warned okada operators that there is no room for their operations in restricted parts of state.
“It is complete madness and I recommend anyone caught in the act to be subjected to psychiatric evaluation,” he said.
He said the exercise was carried out to discourage all business activities on rail tracks and prevent obstructions that could hinder the smooth movement of trains.
The agency frowns at illegal aliens or criminals who perform illegalities, including riding okada on restricted routes across the state.
