The trial has suffered multiple adjournments on similar grounds.
Mr Adamu-Aliyu held that the charges filed on May 13, 2024, against the defendants were competent to be tried.
The state government instituted an eight-count charge bordering on bribery, misappropriation and diversion of public funds against Mr Ganduje and his wife, Umar.
The judge adjourned the matter until October 23 and 24 for the hearing of the preliminary objection and the main charge.
Mr Ganduje is standing trial alongside his wife, Hafsat Umar, his son, Abdullahi Umar, and five others.
