The prosecutor said the offence contravened Section 221(a) of the Penal Code Laws of Kano State.
She stated, “After the abductions, a ransom of N2 million was paid to secure Georgewill’s release.’’

The defendant, who lives in the Sabuwar Gandu Quarters, Kano, was convicted of kidnapping and culpable homicide.
He said the defendants conspired at about 8:30 a.m. on the same day after suspecting Ms Abubakar of being a witch.
According to the prosecutor, the defendant raped the victim to death.
