Afam Osigwe, NBA president, in a statement on Tuesday, stated, “No judge has the power to order a lawyer to kneel in court.”
Mr Nwabuoku was alleged to have perpetrated the act while serving as the director of finance and accounts in the Ministry of Defence between 2019 and 2021.
The prosecution also tendered 30 photographs taken at the scene of the incident by investigators, which the court admitted as Exhibits M–M30.
The FCT High Court, Maitama Division, on Wednesday struck out a motion filed by a lawyer, Victor Giwa, seeking the recusal of Justice Jude Onwuegbuzie.
The Federal Government, through the AGF, had preferred an 11-count terrorism charge against eight defendants, including Bello Turji, who is still at large.
As at the time of filing the report, the case is yet to be assigned to a judge.
“Nobody called me. Nobody invited me or sent any letter to me,” Mr Salihu said.
Mr Sowore, who was arraigned before Justice Mohammed Umar, pleaded not guilty.
The commission, in its reply in a letter dated October 13, approved the request but demanded the sum of N1,505,901,750 as production cost.
“Accordingly, the defendants are hereby ordered to put in their defence,” the judge ruled.
