The value of transactions on the exchange declined by 32.75 per cent, according to official trading data.
The Nigerian stock market rebounded on Thursday, with investors recording gains of N233 billion amid renewed buying interest in equities.
Specifically, the market capitalisation, which opened at N95.664 trillion, closed at N95.316 trillion, representing a 0.36 per cent loss.
An evaluation of market activity revealed an increase in market volume and value, as well as a decline in transactions.
The All-Share Index also declined by 0.42 per cent or 580.48 points, to close at 138,157.16, against 138,737.64 reported on Tuesday.
The market breadth also closed negative, with 32 stocks declining and 28 advancing.
Market capitalisation rose by N677 billion, or 0.92 per cent, to close at N74.358 trillion, compared to N73.681 trillion recorded on Wednesday.
Market capitalisation rose by N224 billion, or 0.32 per cent, to close at N71.118 trillion, compared to N70.894 trillion recorded on Tuesday.
