Mr Otu said that individuals and companies involved in mining operations in the state should be properly profiled.
The governor said the measures were approved after a meeting with key transport stakeholders.
Mr Odey said the decision came after weeks of deliberations by a committee set up by the state government to resolve the land issue.
“I am saddened by the news of the fire outbreak at the Marian Market and the attendant loss of goods and property,” said Mr Ayade.
Cross River governor Ben Ayade has suspended the statewide curfew he ordered in the aftermath of the #EndSARS protests in October 2020.
The suspension was said to have been reached after a meeting with stakeholders of the Calabar carnival.
