“Borno government has approved the release of N2 billion to the state chapter of NLC as loan to state civil servants,” said Mr Zulum.
“The board is up-to-date in the payment of entitlements to retirees, including those who died in active service,” the executive secretary said.
The commission said Tuesday it had begun investigating the alleged misappropriation of the funds by ex-Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s government.
