Mr Tinubu sacked five ministers on Wednesday and appointed seven new ones.
The minister said Mr Soludo’s efforts to boost the creative economy through developments to promote the tourism industry were commendable.
“This draft policy is a testament to our collective dedication to repositioning Nigeria’s tourism sector as a key driver of economic diversification,” the minister said.
Ms Ade-John made the plea on Thursday in Ilorin during the eighth annual general meeting of NATOP.
“This conference will unravel groundbreaking strategies that go beyond conventional approaches,” he said.
She urged stakeholders in the industry to ensure that they work with the government for effective achievement of the objectives.
“Community engagement is vital to the preservation of our assets and history.’’
“‘Tourism is real business when those in these communities understand that they need to be accommodating.’’
The minister said the ministry with the initiative was investing in the future of the youths and unlocking new opportunities for economic prosperity.
“We believe that a strategic plan is indispensable for the sustainable development of tourism.’’
