Governor Mai Mala Buni has approved ₦7.9 billion for the payment of outstanding gratuities to the state and local governments’ retirees.
Mr Buni’s Special Adviser on Security Matters said the donation followed a recent request by the Yobe State Security Stakeholders’ Forum.
The minister encouraged students across the country to be inspired by Ms Aminu’s achievement.
Mamman Mohammed, spokesman for Governor Mai Mala Buni, confirmed this to journalists on Wednesday in Damaturu.
Mr Mohammed said the delegation had visited the OCP/Jorf Lasfar fertiliser complex in Morocco and was conducted around the facility.
