Mr Jatau announced the passage of both bills during plenary in Lafia.
The decision followed a motion moved by the majority leader, Lawan Hussaini (Dala-APC), during plenary.
Mr Emberga directed the clerk to write to government officials and local government chairmen mandating full compliance with the order.
He said that when passed, the bill would improve access to rural communities in the state.
The speaker stated, “There’s need for all members to uphold the highest standards of discipline, decorum, and accountability.”
He said the bill was submitted to the assembly 26 days earlier and had undergone scrutiny.
The speaker, Alfred Emberga, said the suspension of the two former leaders would serve as a deterrent to others.
Mr Dugeri stated that the bill also sought to reactivate the supervisory and monitoring activities in the educational sector.
The report of the House Standing Committee on Higher Education was read during plenary in Makurdi on Thursday.
The speaker said the nominees were competent, experienced, and professionally qualified to serve the state.
