Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved the recruitment of 7,000 teachers into public primary schools in the state.
Mr Mogbonjubola said that the illegal occupants were causing unwarranted obstruction of road traffic.
The governor said the government exists to look after the welfare of the people.
“The ex-LG chairmen will not get a dime until the Supreme Court asks us to pay,” the Oyo governor insisted.
A three-member panel of justices, in a unanimous judgement, condemned Mr Makinde’s conduct.
He hinted that the government would construct a pedestrian bridge in front of the varsity’s main gate to end the knocking down of students by motorists.
“His Excellency congratulates the new Soun-elect on his ascension to the throne of his forebears,” the statement said.
It also stated that government was working toward stopping the movement of cattle within the state.
The court had ruled that the Oyo government pay the salaries and allowances of LGA chairmen and councillors sacked by the governor on May 29, 2019.
“We plead with the governor and house of assembly to avoid giving room to the popular suspicion of seeking to donate compensatory crowns and chieftaincy titles.”
