The confirmed and suspected cases were reported in the Pushit, Mangu 1 and Mangu 2 communities of Mangu Local Government Area.
Mr Mutfwang was elected governor in 2023 on the platform of the PDP.
Mr Mutfwang emphasised his administration’s commitment to renovating the facility and reviving activities at the camp.

“He has also been briefed on the previous security arrangement.”
“This is why we want to use this medium to tell those in the drug business to know that their time on the Plateau is up; we will not tolerate it any longer.
“The curfew will be reviewed as soon as the security situation improves,” said the governor.
The vice president said the president was working to return peace to troubled parts of the country.
“We will continue to do our best to stamp out all forms of criminality in Plateau and its environs,’’ he said.
He warned that any soldier found wanting would not be spared.
