The police said the explosives were reportedly found within a load of waste recently transported from Borno.
Mr Hassan said Mr Buba was attacked and robbed near Kawo the flyover.
The CP assured the public that the command would continue to intensify visibility policing and clamp down on miscreants across the state.
Mr Hassan added, “The incident claimed the life of a 12-year-old boy, identified as Abubakar Muhammed of Josawa Road.’’
