“We look forward to a successful deliberation of the labour unions today and a definite call off of the planned nationwide strike,” he said.
“The view of the OPSN is that of deep concern, if not that of anxiety.”
MAN says some provisions of the 2023 fiscal policy measures by the federal government are inimical to the growth of the manufacturing sector and the entire business community.
“Indeed, the bigger threat to monetary policy effectiveness and inflation is the N22 trillion ways and means finances of the CBN.”
Mr Ajayi-Kadir cautioned that adequate measures should be put in place to ensure a smooth currency transition, particularly in the unbanked areas of Nigeria.
