China has called for dialogue following the military escalation between Pakistan and Afghanistan that saw Pakistani forces strike Afghan cities overnight.
Spokesperson Mao Ning made the remarks at a daily press conference in response to recent U.S. allegations that China has conducted nuclear explosion tests.
She expressed hope that the Iranian government and its people would overcome the current challenges and maintain national stability.
The spokesperson made the remarks when answering a question at a regular press conference.
Ms Ning said, “We hope the U.S. will engage in normal law enforcement and judicial cooperation through bilateral and multilateral legal frameworks.”
Ms Mao said China will continue to actively promote peace and dialogue and provide support and assistance to the peace process in northern Myanmar.
On Wednesday, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning rebuked U.S. ambassador to China Nicholas Burns for blaming China for blocking bilateral exchanges.
Ms Baerbock said the effects of the two wars are hitting the poorest people the hardest around the world.
“We’re down to only one accredited Indian reporter in Beijing — and regrettably, probably zero soon.”
China has recently stepped up its military activities around Taiwan, including its air force incursions into the island’s air defence identification zone.
