Mr Matawalle asked Mr Lawal to follow the proper channel and join the APC instead of trying to sneak into the party.
Ms Maradun said that the ministry would ensure the prompt release of funds for NTDs’ activities.
NEMA’s DG said the affected LGAs include Bungudu, Bakura, Gummi, Gusau, Maradun, Shinkafi, Talata Mafara and Zurmi.
Mr Lawal said he was disturbed to see a deteriorated health facility in Talata Mafara which is a second developed town in Zamfara State.
“The illness is found in Maradun, Shinkafi and Gusau local government areas in the state.”
Mr Lawal, who spoke through his media aide, Sulaiman Idris, in a statement in Gusau, described the verdict as a temporary setback.
Mr Buhari maintained that the combined efforts of the federal and state governments must do all that could be done to bring an immediate end to the horrific killings.
