The initiative, implemented through the Nigerian Energy Support Programme (NESP), is expected to strengthen Nigeria’s growing mini-grid market.
Mr Olatunji emphasised that data protection requires the implementation of laws and cross-border cooperation among countries.
“It has always been my dream to visit Abia because I have heard so much about Aba shoes and the leather industry,” an EU official said.
The five states that have been selected for the project are Abia, Akwa Ibom, Enugu, Ogun, and Plateau.
The EU has reiterated its commitment to engaging diplomatic journalists in capacity building and Artificial intelligence training.
