Mongolia’s National Centre for Communicable Diseases on Tuesday announced that new cases of measles have been recorded over the past 24 hours.
The Head of Damangaza Hausawa, Bello Musa, said that the Public Health Department, FCT, had been notified of the situation.
Ms Umar explained that the pupils and students were scheduled to May 6, but the resumption was extended to May 13 to contain the measles outbreak.
Duol Biem Kueiguong, the director general of the State Ministry of Health, revealed that about 700 children suffering from measles are admitted to Bentiu State Hospital.
Between January and August 2021, there were 67,000 cases of measles across the country.
