Mr Olukoyede said, “If we do the right things in our little spaces, Nigeria will be a better place.’’
The EFCC zonal commandeer said the suspects would be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of ongoing investigations.
Mr Olukoyede said corruption threatened the growth and development of individuals and nations worldwide.
He advised authorities of tertiary institutions to put in place measures that would discourage students from indulging in crimes.
He added that the fight against corruption particularly illegal mining required the support of every individual for it to succeed.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has identified illegal mining and other criminal activities as major threats to Nigeria’s economy.
“By doing this, you save yourselves from trouble and make our job easier and it would help to keep fraudulent customers on the radar.
The suspects were directly involved in vote-buying. We got credible intelligence, and we acted on that intelligence.
Mr Odama said that the collaboration was necessary to decisively deal with all economic saboteurs in the state.
“We are so happy with what you are doing, and we are here to let you know that the Kwara government is solidly behind you.”
