Mr Salako stressed that cancer care should not be limited to urban areas.
The federal government has reaffirmed its commitment to health education and prevention strategies.
“I am sure that all this will be made open by February,” said the CMD.
Mr Alausa said that the programme was designed to foster long-term collaboration between Nigerian professionals in the diaspora and their counterparts within the country.
“Over 65 per cent of physiotherapists produced in Nigeria practise abroad,” said the NSP president.
Babatunde Salako, NIMR director-general, disclosed this at the SARMAAN engagement meeting.
“Real-time information sharing remains a challenge, exacerbating existing gaps in service delivery.’’
