The minister said Mr Soludo’s efforts to boost the creative economy through developments to promote the tourism industry were commendable.
“This draft policy is a testament to our collective dedication to repositioning Nigeria’s tourism sector as a key driver of economic diversification,” the minister said.
“Community engagement is vital to the preservation of our assets and history.’’
“‘Tourism is real business when those in these communities understand that they need to be accommodating.’’
The minister said the ministry with the initiative was investing in the future of the youths and unlocking new opportunities for economic prosperity.
“The training and empowerment initiatives will be conducted in rural areas across Nigeria.’’
