Ms Attafuah said Africa should be recognised as a continent of opportunities, innovation, investment and transformation.
Ms Sulaiman-Ibrahim emphasised the need to expand women’s access to finance, land ownership opportunities and agricultural inputs.
The federal government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening protective measures to safeguard women and girls.
Mrs Sulaiman-Ibrahim stressed that sustainable development was impossible without gender equity.
The minister assured workers that their issues would be addressed within available resources.
Ms Ogbeche noted that the intervention was part of broader efforts to cushion the effects of insecurity and economic hardship in the region.
“The name must match the vision. The vision must match the need. And the need must guide the mission,” she added.
She also announced the upcoming inauguration of a 30th-anniversary coffee-table publication
The minister also shared plans to expand programmes focused on women’s economic empowerment.
