According to Mr Umahi, the people of the South-East are now “comfortable and happy” with Mr Tinubu.
Mr Umahi directed the immediate mobilisation of additional equipment and personnel to accelerate the project.
Mr Umahi emphasised the need for political fairness and continuity in 2027, referencing the works that President Bola Tinubu had been doing since 2023.
Minister of Works David Umahi announced this while reacting to the damage caused to the bridge by a heavy-duty vehicle.
The minister said the administration inherited federal roads in poor conditions, which made it difficult for people to move freely.
