Mr Tunji said that the ministry had already designed a programme for job protection for Nigerians.
“Priority will be given to the welfare and provision of adequate equipment for our personnel, enabling swift responses to distress calls,” he said.
“The bakery is a laudable project because it will help build the skills of the inmates.”
The initiative took off in Abuja on Saturday with the minister, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, convening the launch at the medium-security prison, Kuje.
