Governor Dikko Radda said 32 of the 66 water projects awarded by his administration have been completed, representing 48 per cent completion.
Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf has merged the Ministries of Water Resources and Environment and Climate Change into the Ministry of Water Resources, Environment and Climate Change.
He said the move was aimed at transforming the state’s economy and improving the lives of the citizens.
Mr Buni said, “I have noted in recent times the emerging politicking for 2027.’’
He also queried the ministry for reportedly sinking a borehole between N25 million and N12.5 million per unit.
According to him, the exercise will ultimately combat world hunger and make wholesome food available for everyone.
”This will be part of the main agenda at the summit and the NCAFS meetings in November,” he said.
“We will also invite the ministry to deal with us directly,” he said.
The Kano government says it has approved the release of N7 billion for the execution of various capital projects across the state.
