He said two suspected members of a drug cartel were arrested in connection with the seizure.
According to him, this is the first time the command has simultaneously intercepted two illicit drug trucks.
The raid also led to the recovery of 125 bags of dried weeds suspected to be skunk.
Mr Ofoyeju urged community members to support ongoing operations by providing credible intelligence on drug activities.
The seminar followed a street awareness rally, which took place in Benin on Thursday.
Mr Ofoyeju said, “The achievements were remarkable and underscored our proactive approach towards curbing drug-related crimes in Edo State.’’
“We’ll train you, set you up, make you become useful to society and your family,” he said.
He said the command’s grand strategy is to make Edo safe from drug cartels by air, water, and land.
The NDLEA commander linked drug trafficking to rising violent crimes in the state.
The NDLEA commander, Mitchell Ofoyeju, disclosed that the illicit consignment was a product of a search operation on containers from Montreal, Canada.
