Mr Alia expressed shock and sadness over the killings.
Ms Edet said the command had begun a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the killings.
He said the fight against banditry must remain a national priority, requiring unwavering commitment and collective resolve.

The Kwara South Senatorial District of the state has witnessed a rise in cases of kidnapping and banditry in recent times, with recorded cases of loss of lives.
He urged Nigerians to embrace the spirit of Eid by letting go of past hurts in the interest of peace and unity.
She added that his remains have been deposited at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) mortuary.
He said the killing was not only traumatic but it symbolised the barbarity of the perpetrators.
