The group made the appeal in a communique issued at the end of its annual general meeting and delegates conference in Abuja on Monday.
He alleged that the outfit had attacked some pastoralists in the state.
The association alleged that the attacks were being carried out by an outlawed group tagged “Yan Sa Kai Group”.
Mr Umar urged security agencies to nip the growing spate of killings of pastoralists across the country in the bud.
He assured that a message would be convened to herders not to allow their cows to graze on the streets of FCT.

“An average cow costs between N250,000 to N350,000, far above the cash transaction allowed by the CBN, the question is how will pastoralists who don’t have bank accounts be paid?
The group are asking that the federal government take responsibility for the killings and compensate the victims.
“We have about 16 million registered voters from the pastoralists community in Nigeria,” Mr Usman-Ngelzarma said.
The group asked the National Assembly under Mr Lawan to look into the lack of government support being faced by pastoralists.
