INTERPOL’s data support multinational operations that have seized thousands of firearms and dismantled networks tied to terrorism, trafficking, and illegal mining.
Mr Chambas made the plea in Accra on Thursday while delivering the keynote address at the candidates’ signing of a peace pact.
Mr Chambas said, “We are at a critical juncture in our quest for a peaceful and secured Africa and the world.’’
Mr Jonathan, also the chairperson of WAEF, and other elders left Abuja on Thursday for Dakar, where they will remain until next Wednesday.
Mr Chambas also called on Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger military leaders to withdraw their threat to exit from the sub-regional bloc.
