Mr Ndume stood as Mr Maina’s surety and used his Abuja property title document worth N500 million as a bail bond.
The judge had earlier fixed October 2 but realised it fell on a Saturday.
Mr. Abang, on Wednesday, dismissed the application filed by Mr Adibe on behalf of Faisal, Mr Maina’s son.
The judge said the anti-corruption agency’s conduct was reprehensible and condemnable.
“A defendant who fled the country while his travel documents were deposited in court cannot be trusted with another bail.”
N20 million was transferred to O-Pec Nig Ltd while N5 million was withdrawn in China using the ATM of Mr. Maigwandu by the ex-minister’s wife to procure furniture.
Nigeria is committed to Nationally Determined Contributions for achieving the Agreement.
