Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has invited SSS to join the investigation and widen the dragnet with inter-agency collaboration to unearth the truth.
“I am scared that we are getting so emotional that we are overlooking the real issues before MohBad’s death,” ID Cabasa said.
The police have established a dedicated 13-member investigative team to probe the death of Mohbad.
However, police on Monday officially began an official investigation into the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death.
“This is with immediate effect,” the statement reiterated.
His appeal comes as Nigerians have continued to seek justice for the singer’s death.
“Clearly, there are reasons to believe that the cause of MohBad’s death was unnatural and suspicious,” said Mr Ogun.
Bella Shmurda expressed his grief and outrage on his X handle, addressing the untimely death of his close friend, Mohbad.
He said the team had already swung into action with its investigation into the case.
