Physical and credential screening would begin from September 26 to October 1 at Police Secondary School, Minna by 8:00 a.m. daily.
“All we require from good Samaritans is reliable and credible information on the movement of suspected criminals in the society,” the police said.
“We are battle-ready to confront any person or group of people undermining the peaceful nature for which Niger state is known,” said Mr Kuryas.
The government said drug abuse was “affecting the socio-economic wellbeing of the people and causing distrust, and disunity among Nigerians.”
The police plan to arraign the suspects as soon as investigations are concluded.
