The governor said that Mr Koleoso did love Oyo State till his dying days.
“As I have always said, our administration appreciates the support and prayers of the Muslim Ummah over the last five years.”
Mr Afonja died on Sunday at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, at 82.
“The attacks were premeditated and orchestrated by some opposition elements, who hired street urchins to waylay the convoy of the governor,” Mr Alao said.
The reconstituted task force is to be chaired by the executive assistant to Mr Makinde on intervention, Aderonke Adedayo.
