The archbishop also urged Nigerians not to lose hope as Nigeria marked its 62nd Independence anniversary.
Mr Kaigama spoke in his homily at the Our Lady Help of Christians, Dagba on Sunday queried the government on measures to combat insecurity.
The Catholic leader also prayed for Nigerian leaders to be like Moses who was god-fearing, courageous, selfless and focused.
“There will be storms, but afterwards, peace follows. Even in the midst of the storm, when fear was encompassing, words of courage and power should be declared….”
Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama has described democracy under President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime as a mixture of dictatorship as he condemns the Twitter ban.
“We must ask the question, why are things not working well despite the enormous blessings of God on Nigeria?”
