Mr Shettima and other prominent figures arrived at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, Bauchi, at about 1:45 p.m.
“Whoever comes for this outreach will be checked, examined, diagnosed and treated for free,” he assured.
According to him, the initiative will grow the economy, create jobs and reduce poverty in the country.
According to him, malaria is endemic in the country and only concerted effort can eliminate it.
“Health insecurity can also affect economic security. We saw a pandemic crippling the world. It started as a health problem,” said the ex-minister.
