Plateau State finished 12th on the final medal table with 8 gold, 13 silver and 26 bronze, bringing the total of medals to 47.
Mr Ashims said that the state regretted the negative impact of the curfew on law-abiding citizens,

The incident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. on Friday when the students were writing their third-term examination.

The commissioner, who said that the children would be taken for a proper medical examination, commended NAPTIP for the feat.
An aide to Governor Caleb Mutfwang, said the governor was working with security agencies to promote peace at all levels of Plateau state.
He said that the council resolved to strengthen relevant government agencies to perform their constitutional duties of checking the menace.
