In one operation, troops recovered two AK 47 rifles, four AK 47 magazines, five mobile phones, one cutlass, two motorcycles, N20,000 and others.
Six AK 47 rifles, 40 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, six AK 47 magazines and 32 motorcycles among other items were recovered.
The defence headquarters said the troops killed the bandit kingpin while responding to an attack on farmers harvesting their produce.
Mr Danmadami, a major-general, said the different operations were conducted from August 11 to 25 in the North-East.
