Mr Daudu said that the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Plateau State, was proud of Ms Idris for demonstrating honesty and integrity.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya has warned intending pilgrims to the 2025 Hajj from the state against acts capable of denting the country’s image.
The approval was announced in a statement by Sagir Musa, Commissioner for Information, Youth, Sports and Culture, on Thursday.
Mr Kusimo also advised them to avoid spending too much time in the sun and drink enough water to prevent dehydration.
He said the first batch of the pilgrims were from all the 16 local government areas of the state.
The pilgrims were warned against drug trafficking and other prohibited items to the holy land.
A total of 1,500 intending pilgrims from the state are expected to perform the 2022 Hajj.
Mr Umahi charged Muslims in Ebonyi to deploy their gifting in agriculture and commerce to enhance the economy of the state.
