He said the fund would strengthen the NCDC’s operational readiness and support critical national public health emergency response activities.
Mr Olatoye pledged the support of their institutions towards the successful implementation of the initiative.
The NSDC executive secretary, Kamar Bakrin, on Sunday said the fund aims to provide financing and project development support to viable promoters.
The state official said more cities in Akwa Ibom are prone to gully erosion due to the natural topography and soil texture in those locations.
