The Nigerian Air Force says it killed several terrorists in Bukar Meram in the Southern Tumbuns and Chikide in the Mandara Mountains.
He said the operations targeted terrorists’ enclaves, logistics hubs and fortified hideouts.
The NAF commander also paid tribute to troops on the front lines.
Mr Ejodame said the airstrike was conducted at about 1205 hours on April 1 by the air component of the Joint Task Force North East.
Mr Aneke said the exercise was not punitive but an administrative necessity to ensure compliance with the Firearms Act.
Mr Ejodame said the interview would take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna, from January 12 to February 8, 2026.
He said the aircraft executed multiple coordinated strike runs on the camp.
Mr Aneke commended the troops for their professionalism for sustaining operational pressures across the theatre.
The air chief stated that the changing security landscape requires agility, intelligence-led operations, and close coordination with sister services.
“The 24 aircraft will be delivered in four batches, complete with weapons, tools, spare parts, and logistics,” a statement said.
